What a game in Raleigh today, both teams went at one another hard. I thought we were going to get the 1-0 win but with an empty net and 7 seconds left the Leafs forced OT. The Leafs had all the momentum going to OT and I thought we were in trouble and our life expectancy in the series. The Canes gutted another one out and hopefully now can take one in Toronto and get the home ice back.

This series is going to be a close one. I don't think either team is going to blow the other out of the water, especially the way the goalies were playing.
BTW, I think I scared my neighbors when I yelled after McCauley scored. :)

You must have received all of the energy that was sucked out of the building when he scored.

I was watching the game with my Girlfriends Dad at his place. I loved how the goalies came up with some big saves during that game.
The only thing that we kept commenting on was how bad Carolina's power play looked - even with a 2 man advantage.
I also couldn't believe the Leafs had Sundin, Domi, Lumme and Tucker back in the lineup yesterday!! I thought at least Tucker was done for the season with a broken shoulder??
Looking forward to game 3.

It's getting to the point where I have to turn the sound down cause of the terrible announcers on every channel. Harry Neale is one of the worst (at times) and the guy who always says a player "joins the party" when they go in the corner where some other players are. Too bad there's no chat room here cause we could all do our own play by play! Or at least type it.

That was a great game, like the Count, i clearly thought we were done for when McCauley scored with 7 seconds left. THe roar of 14,000 Canes' fans was quckly silenced and the die-hard Leafs fans, about 4,000 strong were the ones loudes heard. But their smiles turned to frowns after walin, our Swedish secret, scored another overtime gamewinner!! What a game. Hopefully the Canes can continue on Tuesday night in Toronto.
BTW, I have to give a lot of credit to the Leafs fans who drove the 13 hours to Raleigh. they are truly diehard fans and most of them, at least the ones i talked with, were very cool people.
